ISER Announces First Teacher of the Year
The faculty and staff have selected Mrs. Michele Barrett as the first Teacher of the Year for Imagine School at Evening Rose. Mrs. Barrett is a primary writing and social studies teacher that brings a zest for learning to all her students. Her cluster mates call her ‘kidriffic’ which is a testament to her dedication. Mrs. Barrett’s philosophy of education is mirrored in this quote; “The important thing is not so much that every child should be taught, as that every child should be given the wish to learn.” -John Lubbock
Daily she goes about giving every child she comes in contact with the wish to learn. During her free time, she loves to bake, work with technology, and spend time with her husband, family, friends, and two Boston Terriers, Boomer and Pixie. This teacher also loves to watch movies, sing, dance, and act! We are delighted to have Mrs. Barrett as part of our Imagine family and congratulate her on this wonderful honor.
